Evan Solot composes for orchestras, jazz groups, pop recordings, dance and theater. His music has been performed by some of the country's leading jazz and pop performers.  His commissions include pieces for Alaska, Mississippi, Illinois and Minnesota.&lt;/i&gt;</description>
