I hope to have a initial release of the .Net wrapper I have been working on early next week. The first release will not handle uploads, but will allow you to authenticate and retrieve information from the api.

I'd be very interested to see how you created the .Net wrapper. For my own project I'm building my own .Net wrapper, but for now I only have a couple of methods implemented that I need. Hope you can release the source for it this weekend so I can use it and perhaps extend or improve it.

It seems the momentum on this effort has stalled. Too bad, really. Like a few others here, I've started to create my own C#/WCF wrapper for Viddler's REST API. I didn't realize there were already some projects out there, though, so I hate to duplicate the effort.

What I'm really after is an example of how to POST to Viddler's API with WCF. Has anybody given that a try yet? I'd really like to get the video upload API implemented for .NET.

I, too, continued my own development of a .Net 2.0 API. Because of this I wasn't able to use WCF of course, so I'm sorry I'm not able to help you there. The progress of my version of the API is coming along just fine. I still need to implement a few methods, but most of it is there. I contacted jtolar (thread starter) if I'm allowed to publish my API to his Codeplex project. I'm planning on releasing my version of the API this weekend, as it needs to be ready because it's a requirement for an article I wrote, and the article gets published really soon.

Unfortunately I haven't heard from jtolar yet, so I'm unable to release the first version of my API to Codeplex. Instead I've released an early version on my blog. You can find it here:

John Tolar did reply in the meantime and made me a developer at http://www.codeplex.com/viddlerdotnet. I released an updated version of the wrapper to codeplex, so please check it out and let me know what you think!
