Viddler Vidget not showing correctly in IE8

Hello, I sent a message regarding this a while back to the support email but never got a reply. Perhaps because it's near christmas, anyway, I thought I would ask for help here just in case, perhaps someone else knows the issue.

So, I have the Viddler Vidget set up on my web page, I am using the "List" vidget along with style "List" as well, basically the videos show in a list underneath the video. Now this works perfectly in Firefox, however if one looks at it in IE8, while the embedded video player shows the list does not. Unfortunately I don't know what the issue is so does anyone have any ideas?

sometimes it can take a while even after the upload process is complete for a video to show, one of mine did not show for around 10 mins after, then it was there. while some others seem to be instant right after the upload and encode process is done

I am not concerned with ads, but the file blocks both ads and malicious sites together. Unfortunately it is also blocking embedded Viddler videos (specifically from Destructoid.com) and causes it just to just show "loading video". I deleted all the Google and Doubleclick entries from the HOSTS file, however, it is still not working. Can anyone tell me what the servers are, or perhaps what entries I should delete from the HOSTS file?

First thing's first. Have you made sure that...
a) Your speakers are on and turned up...
b) Your computer's volume is on and turned up (including the various sub-volume levels)...
c) Your video's volume is on and turned up.

Sometimes the answer turns out to be a forehead-slapping one.

No Audio Playback

My video was uploaded and plays back, but there is no audio. I can hear the audio on the camera (sony dcr-trv38), so I know it's recorded. How do I get the audio to play back?

this is good to hear, ive seen quite a few complaining acounts removed with no notice, certainly i can see why it was so.

but great to know theres a prior notice now so accounts can be corrected if its a inocent mistake

seems every idea and improvment viddler has is always in favour of the user, i was unsure at first but now im convinced to stay the course with viddler i love it here :O) great work

ps is the problem i had with dissapearing profile text sorted yet? it would be good to know what if any solution has come of this yet,

Hi ViddlerOops/rollersport.tv, thanks for vocalizing your problem and let me walk through what's been going on internally here at Viddler.

Early when moderating commercial use on personal accounts, we had a more agressive policy of taking down content without notification due to the overwhelming amount of misuse we were fighting. It's not a pretty job managing personal accounts that sign up in bulk, uploading tens of thousands of videos by MLM, Cash Gifters and Real Estate spam.

Initially we didn't have a warning system built in, but because of feedback like this we have changed this policy. Now we are giving ample time to upgrade and look at alternatives before closing accounts. Sorry that you were victim to this and will send you an email shortly about working to restore your videos.
