Ok, I've been a fan of Diggnation & TRS from the fine folks at Rev3 since the beginning, good to see them on Viddler.
My question is: what settings are they using to get such clean video and what are the file sizes looking like?
Can anyone shed some light? I'm using Premier Pro CS3 & Quicktime Pro to compress.

I'm not actually sure what settings they're using. It might be a good idea to send them a message through their site or one of the show accounts here to find out exactly what settings/setup they're using.
In terms of getting clean video, here are some things that will help with that:

Some specs gleaned from those two threads:
Frame Rate = 24 fps
Key Frames = Every 24 frames
Format = AAC
Channels = Mono (unless stereo is important and you recorded with more than one mic)
Rate = 44.1 (very important so your audio doesn?t sound like chipmunks on some video sharing sites)
Bit Rate Format: Variable
Target Bit Rate: 64 (don?t need it higher for non HD video)
codec / compression type = H.264
multi-pass encoding
data rate = restrict to 768 kbps
interlace source video
Audio:
Format = AAC
channels= mono
rate = 44.1kHz
quality = "best"
target bit rate= 64kbps
