Can anyone help me? When I visit a website with embedded Viddler video or the Viddler website itself, Firefox crashes. The specific website I tried is xbox360fanboy.com. I'm running WinXP SP2, Firefox 2.0.0.13, and Flash player 9.0.124.0. I've got all my extensions shut off, and I've tried running Firefox in safe mode. Nothing seems to work. I can generate the huge text error report if anyone needs it. I don't even know where to start here.
Thanks in advance!!

It would be great if you can send us a screenshot, we will then try to assist you as best we can.

I'll be glad to do that. Are you looking for a screenshot of the error message itself with detail, or do you even want the giant .txt file that's generated by Windows when the crash occurs?

A screen of the error or the error itself would be great.

It's not just in firefox, I get this in IE too:
The following add-on was running when this problem occured:
Add-on Name: flash9f.ocx
Company Name: Adobe Systems Incorporated
Description: Adobe Flash Player
Please fix this. It gets really annoying. Whenever I visit Xbox360Fanboy, everything freezes. I can't switch tabs, or surf the internet or anything. I close the box, but when I try to start up firefox again, it says that firefox is already currently running etc. PLEASE FIX!

Read this regarding NPSWF32.dll

and

Here is a story of what some one did to fix his crashing

Peace
If this does not help, do a google about NPSWF32.dll and firefox crashing.
Out.
Also look up and do some research on flash9f.ocx if the above does not help.
;)
I would start with the NPSWF32.dll first.

I've tried your fix and firefox still crashes. It's only with viddler too. No other programs I use have the same effect of crashing Firefox.

I made Jason aware that you're still having issues and hopefully he'll get back with you soon about a solution for this issue.
I'm really sorry that you're still having trouble with the site. :(

Thanks. It's really annoying when every single freakin time i visit a site that has a viddler embedded video it totally crashes my firefox.

Do you have cam frog installed by any chance?
Last year or so, cam frog was causing my viddler videos to crash my browser.
I too was pissed when my browser kept crashing but I figured out the problem and just dumped cam frog ;)

Unfortunately we do not have anyway of detecting why a browser crashes. I have tried to debug this with several users and they all came to the conclusion that external applications were causing viddler to crash their. I would suggest reporting something to Mozilla and see if they can debug it. if their is ultimately something they can find that says viddler is the reason for the crash and tell us what is causing it we can shift our systems to fix the issue. But as of now we have no way of reproducing the exact problem on our end. If you do find any information send an email to viddler-help@pigeon.viddler.com.

If all else fails, I would suggest you do a system restore to a point where and when you know for 100 % sure this crash was not happening. I don't have system restore on my pc but when I did, I would use this to fix problems when all else failed.
