A portion of the Viddler team (Donna, Rob, and I) just ate at a chinese buffet in Whitehall, PA - and it was "ok". Do you a favorite chinese buffet?
Mine is in Dickson City, Pennsylvania and it is called "Eastern Buffet". Definitely worth checking out since they have a hibachi and sushi built-in to the cost of your buffet. Nothing has beaten it so far.

Oh man, I give up on Chinese Buffets after I graduated from college. At the rate I was visiting them at, I would've had 2 heart attacks by now. :)
Have you ever tried Dim Sum? It's like a buffet but the buffet comes to you in the form of little bit sized meals. It's a brunch thing, so they usually only have them on Saturday and Sunday around Noon.

There are a few really good Chinesse restaurants down in Philly (ah, Philadelphia) In a section known as "Chinatown" I don't remember the names. I look for the restaurants the local Chinese people are eating in - usually a good indicator of the quality of the food. Dim Sum is usually Sunday in a number of these restauratns. Great way to sample lots of different delicacies.

I have a former employee who was from and later moved back to Dickson City. He works for Keystone automotive suppliers now.
We have a chinese buffet in Globe, AZ. Its absolutely horrible. There was a decent one in Tucson called Maxim. But even that had nothing special. I am always looking for the one that has fresh food that caters towards quality rather than quantity. But i suppose for that i should just order off a menu.

FiddlinLady: The Sang Kee Duck House in Chinatown (Philly) is a very good one that I go to fairly often. Good prices, and packed with locals. Cash only--no credit cards. This was so unexpected that the first time I went there I had to walk a few blocks to find an ATM so I could pay the bill.
