I have one Q. Does the number of views counts only direct Viddler views (played from the viddler page) or that also stands for views from pages where the video is embedded?

Please does anyone now the answer on this question?

Let's say I run a cooking website. I want to have a videos section, where players upload video recipes without leaving my site, which then get displayed within my site. They can also leave comments on each others.

I thought Viddler could do that - am I wrong?

Ahh no they can't you have to upload all videos to viddler and embed them to your website and the comments part depends on your server!!

Hi,

I just signed up for a $100 per month start-up account, but I'm still not sure if Viddler can do what I need.

Can any of you guys help? Basically, I want to let visitors to my website upload their own videos through my site, and have those videos displayed on my site with no Viddler branding.

I also want visitors to be able to browse the uploaded videos within my site, and leave comments on the videos without logging in.

Can Viddler do this? Do I need to hack around with the API for this?

player branding is a great feature,
just an idea what about seperate branding per video? if possible
and or / player skins? which a user can upload of there own creation

this would certainly atrract the creative users while not being to bias against the wider range of users

would certainly be very interesting to see if its at all possible. its not a must , but just a idea even closer to the brand yourself concept of viddler

in some ways not half as important as a much needed HD for all. ,just that some like myself are proud of being different

profile views is not so much important i dont think
as this site allready has much more direct social potential than youtube anyway and is not really a good indicator that people like your uploads, its just a number and says nothing about the people viewing the page

subscribers showing up similar to how youtube does and other sites, i think should be done. it gives users an idea of whos interested in whos vids and adds to a more comunity based effect

videos watched probly a good idea. it gives people a credibility lable.
one of my accounts on youtube is 17,083 vids watched

total views across all uploads not sure could seems niether here or to there
