Viddler

hi

im new here. i have to say viddler player is much better then youtube. all i do is play and record pc fps games.. i had to record extra bright to upload and play back on youtube.. youtube player or codec makes my vids blurry and playback is always dark.. in areas of a game where it is dark out side or in a room. say low light.. well you could see nothing on youtube player.. fiddler is great so far as for video playback and screen size etc.

i do have a request.. as is i have 720 videos on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/ezeht and will have 3000 or so in a few months. im doing complete recordings of my play through of all my games.. can fiddler add.. play lists or folders. so i can put all same game videos in its own list. it would be a lot more easy for me to post in forums or what ever for any 1 game i am playing.versus folks have to look through all my videos.. which they can. i do not care but that is not the point.. im sure other folks here have videos from a vacation or what ever. and would like to have its own playlist for them.. it is more easy to share a topic or videos on a subject versus mass confusion or a random collage.. other then no play lists or separate folders. i think viddler is great.

dont miss understand. it is nice to see all your videos as you posts them as now..but to have playlists has its purpose too.any 1 of my games can have a few hundred videos. it would be more easy to organize and number them 1~ etc. if i could put them in its own playlist. as fiddler is now. i see no reason to upload any more videos to your site. i can not organize my videos so. i wish it fiddler had a larger game community. but hey cant ask for everything..

oh ya.. to have this forum is cool. youtube lacks this..and i have no way to tell youtube what i think of its suck player.and the new beta player they are testing now.is even more dark play back then what they are using..i think soon. i will delete my youtube account all to gather.. millions of folks post game videos on youtube.. if more folks hear about viddler they would change and use your site. but again. no play list can be a deal killer.

any way. i have looked around at a lot of video sites.. viddler is the best ive seen yet. its player is great. viddler is still a baby maybe. and does not have youtubes community. but that is ok.. i will stick with viddler..

if viddler adds playlist functions it will be perfect..

Dag I'm sad. Viddler really needs play list functions. youtube has changed its player or codec to even more dark and blurry then the last 1. i just dont get it with youtube. they are maybe the largest community video site on earth. and they by far have the most poor playback of any site Ive seen yet. i guess they feel to save a few bits per video adds up in the end to millions of free tara bites of dics space for new videos. ya that is true. but what we want is. to view our videos or share them in the best quality as possible. or why bother to put them on line in the first place if they look like pure crap. i surely do not even try to upload them. and then to have youtube degrade them like they do. well. it should be a crime..

really now. dont get me wrong. for the most part i like youtube. the way its community is set up. its features of. comments/ratings/traffic and can share or embed and they are generous as to file sizes you can upload etc.. but the play back purely sucks.. i feel slighted.. to carry the name they do [google] i think it is. and to have such a large fan base. you would think they would advance maybe have the best play back quality over all other sites..instead they go back wards. or maybe folks that work for them and think of the codecs or what ever. are blind and can not see right. Na i think its more they want as small of files as possible to save a few bits. and they can really care less what our videos look like.if we do not like it we can leave type of attitude. i think its a poor way to be my self.

Viddler is a pretty nice site. it lacks play list functions. im not sure why exactly? it should be basic functions. any other photo or vid site would include play list functions. so folks can organize as per topic or subject or title. you can cater or present different play lists where they apply instead of dumping only a mixed collage in folks laps. not every 1 cares about everything. and in 2008 most people want what they want ready and easy in front of them.. they do not want to surf through a 100 videos to see the 3 videos of a subject or topic they are interested in.. Viddler and its lack of play list functions hold me back..im sure it holds back many many other folks who would move more videos here. and would put the word out more too. and have more traffic on the Viddler site.. the lack of this 1 function alone if anything hurts Viddler..im not sure why its creators do not understand this..or maybe they want viddler to grow slowly or for nothing else lack of storage space and can not handle large demands or something.. No i do not want to delete my youtube account.but i would not upload many more videos to its site if Viddler had play list functions..

ya. I'm retarded. and only play games and make videos.. but i do as best i can. and try to make the best videos as possible with my older rig.. man it pisses me off to see how they play back on youtube. its like Ive wasted my time. or i have poor video making skills..im no expert by far..but the same videos up loaded here to viddler plays back and looks 2x better then on youtube and thats the facts.. Viddler chops my legs off at the knees it has no play list functions.. its like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place..maybe viddler will mature..gees i sure hope it dont go under.. i would have wasted my time on this site too. if it ups and is gone 1 day.

ezeht, we have some features coming down the road that will be similiar to playlists and will allow for creation of video lists through widgets. keep an eye out and maybe some of the upcoming options will fulfill your needs in terms of viewing content.

You can easily have playlist with the javascript viddler provided.
But if you want the next clip to load when the playing clip loaded I don't know if it's possible.
