To some who are anti-war, the title of this video-blog will upset them. It should not. I'm against war and always have been, but the reality of my life is that both my late father and stepfather fought in World War II, and in my father's case, Zenophon Abraham of is his name (he lives in Chicago), I am the proud owner of his neatly folded burial flag and two bullets wrapped in them. Michael Jackson Postpones London Concert; Skin Cancer?

In a surprising turn of events, Michael Jackson, the self-described "King of Pop" has postponed his much-anticipated London concert series. While the official reason is not known, The Telegraph of London is reporting that Jackson is secretly fighting skin cancer. The first concert of the "This Is It" tour that was set for July 8th is being moved back five nights to July 13th. The other concerts that were to be held this year, are now set for 2010 according to Billboard: 10th July will be moved to 1st March 2010 12th July will be moved to 3rd March 2010 14th July will be moved to 6th March 2010 Those who have purchased tickets and can't make the show will be refunded in full. While some news outlets have reported no official cause of the concert delays, and others claim skin cancer which they say Jackson denies is the reason, The Sun explained in full on May 16th that Jackson is fighting skin cancer, but at the time he expected to go ahead with his concert schedule as it stood then. According to a source for The Sun, Jackson said he would fit the treatment around the concerts, but it seems Jackson may have changed his mind. Today, May 20th, Jackson walked out of Bedford Medical in Virginia, which is known for its treatment of skin cancer declaring "I have nothing to hide." The Concerts Are Jackson's Comeback Jackson, commonly the focus of reports of bizarre behavior, is still a very popular singer for his library of hits that span four decades. I first saw him in August of 1972 at the Chicago Amphitheater when he was the child star of the Jackson Five. I feel like I've grown up with the man and love his music, even as I watched him alter his face to something south of Diana Ross, drop out of a number of well-publicized marriages, and allow his inner child to take over a bit too much. Gay Marriage: the act of a man marrying a man or a woman marrying a woman will be the issue that revives the Republican Party. Consider that for the first time, more Americans - including myself - support Gay Marriage than oppose it 49 percent to 46 percent according to the latest Washington Post / ABC Poll. But that near 50-50 split is common in many polls and shows that as the idea becomes more mainstream there's a healthy opposition to it. We saw this recently in the comments by Miss California Carrie Prejean who said she believes marriage should be between a man and a woman and who parlayed her new fame into a gig working as a spokesperson for the National Organization for Marriage, while angering famous blogger Perez Hilton, who fired off a nasty retort using the "B-word." "Smart Car" Spotted In Oakland Rockridge BART Parking Lot

I was walking from my car to Olivetto's in Market Hall last night to meet a friend for dinner when I spotted a really small car in the Oakland Rockridge BART Parking Lot, where I parked. I mean this car was tiny and at the rear had one word on it: "Smart." So, I removed my handy Flip Video Camera from my suit pocket and made this video blog about it. As I filmed and talked I was totally both taken and scared by the sheer size of the vehicle (small), so I did some research. According to various online sources, the Smart Car was the creation of the same person who came up with the Swatch Watch. That device -- a simple, monotoned plastic-looking timepiece, was a hit with Valley Girls in the 80s. And that discovery explains why the car looks like, well, a Swatch..car? The car in the video is called a Smart Fortwo, or "for two" as in two people. It's created by Mercedez Benz to this day, even though the Wikipedia seems to imply otherwise. The Smart Fortwo was brought to America over a year ago. Still, I would not be caught driving one -- it's too small. I can't see surviving an accident in this thing at all. How small does a car need to be? And how much gas does it use? According to this site, it's 33 in the city and 41 on the highway. That's terrible considering its size and what a Prius can do. But the good news is unlike that hybrid car, the price is about $12,000. Still, I think it should be about $7,000 -- I'd pay for that just to drive it on the golf course! Distributed by Tubemogul.
