Jakob is a new breed: cinematographer-visual effects supervisor. Few people can do both things, which are a huge advantage in the workflow. When he's shooting, he is not just framing, he's already deciding how the shot is going to be tracked, colour corrected or whatever it is required in post.

Jakob is a very talented and accomplished cinematographer and visual effects artist. His work is of high standards and he has worked in successful feature productions like John Rabe. Jakob has made an impression on the local art scene with both his cinematographic skills as well as his photography, notably his photography was showcased in New York City as part of a Shanghai exhibition. I feel his beautiful cinematography is influenced by his strong photographic skills. I would strongly endorse him for any project.
