About This Video
In this short piece from the "Ticking Our Boxes" series, young volunteer Amin Ali talks about vetting laws in the UK and how they affect volunteers like him. Amin is an avid football fan and has been organising local football tournaments for years. WORLDwrite went along to one of these tournaments, which Amin reminds us could be a thing of the past since compulsory CRB checks prove to be an impediment for volunteers like him who could not afford it; and as Amin asks, where is our trust in ourselves and our peers to decide and judge others rather than a piece of paper?
