This week we try out to Chilean wines. We haven't had much experience with wine from Chile, so this is a chance to expand our palates. We taste the Santa Rita 2006 Cab Sauv and the 07 Carmenere. The similarity between carmenere and merlot was evident, and I was amazed to learn that carmenere was thought to be extinct!
