4 months ago 0 + -Fluxus can listen to incoming sound, you have have to download JackOsx 0.80 for this version of Fluxus.
Then when you code, you can hookup incoming sound to objects in your code. You get access to the audio spectrum so low and high tones you can map to different objects or things.
Actually sky is the limit.
This was my first attempt. You can see that I'm still a bit of a dummy, but it's much fun
