About This Video
Welcome to part 2 of our series entitled The Process of Becoming Born Again.
What does it mean to be "Born Again"? We all have our own religious and traditional ideas. But what is the biblical basis? Jesus (Yeshua) rebuked Nicodemus for being a teacher of the Jews and not understanding this second birth. Nicodemus, who was a later disciple of Yeshua and a Pharisee just like Paul, had great knowledge and understanding concerning the scriptures. So why do we treat him as though he could not understand a, supposedly, simple concept? Is it possible that the scriptural basis of this new birth has roots in history that pre-date YHVH's instructions given to Moses on Mount Sinai? Is it possible that the journey most people feel they have already completed is a far more complex and life changing than they have ever imagined? Please join me as we investigate some of our pre-conceived ideas concern the foundations of our faith in Messiah; to renew of our minds to that good, and acceptable and perfect will of YHVH, in order that we might be able to worship our heavenly Father in spirit and in truth, as did Yeshua.
Today we are going to discuss Passover and the last supper.
Was the Passover and the "last supper" the same event? Is our salvation contingent on our participation in what is commonly called "communion?" Could Yeshua add new laws? What is the significance of the bread and the wine? What do they represent? What did the disciples think this dinner was?
