What does it mean to be Born Again? If we are born into a kingdom of the world the first time, what are we born into the second time? Jesus rebuked Nicodemus for being a teacher of Israel and not knowing the scriptures; where is it in the law and the Prophets? Are there any qualifications to being born again?

Baptism, A New Beginning - Born Again Series #4

What does it mean to be "Born Again"? We all have our own religious and traditional ideas. But what is its scriptural basis? We know that these roots must pre-date Nicodemus, since Jesus (Yeshua) rebuked Nicodemus for being a teacher of the Jews and not understanding this second birth. Nicodemus, who was a later disciple of Yeshua and a Pharisee just like Paul, had great knowledge and understanding concerning the scriptures. So why do we treat him as though he could not understand a, supposedly, simple concept? Is it possible that the scriptural basis of this new birth has roots in history that even pre-date YHVH's instructions given to Moses at Mount Sinai? Is it possible that the journey many people feel they have already completed is a far more complex and life changing than most folks have ever imagined? Please join me as we develop a solid foundation for our faith in Messiah; and renew our minds to that good, and acceptable and perfect will of YHVH. Only then we can worship our heavenly Father, as Yeshua did, in spirit and in truth. What is baptism? Is baptism something which John or Yeshua instituted in addition to YHVH's laws? What is expatriation and how does it relate to YHVH's kingdom? How many masters can we serve anyway? Let's explore the roots behind baptism and free ourselves to serve YHVH with all our heart, soul and strength.

Many Christians think too small. Hopefully this series will challenge the believer to expand their view of the kingdom and the King they confess as Lord. To replace a temporal and worldly perspective with an eternal one; to set their minds on the invisible kingdom and begin "Living Large." Able offered a more acceptable sacrifice. Noah, being divinely warned of thing not yet seen, prepared an ark. Abraham obeyed and went out not knowing where He was going. He dwelt in the land of Canaan as if in a strange country, an invisible kingdom. He looked for a city which has foundation whose builder and maker is God and whose cornerstone is the word of God, the word made flesh, elect, precious. All these actions were the result of an unseen hope, an invisible kingdom.
