Seventh time’s a charm for Jean Leloup – The Wolf is back for his seventh studio album. Popular in the francophone rock community in Québec, Canada, his music has been infused and influenced by African rhythms. His provocative lyrics even made a splash outside Québec when L'amour est sans pitié (Love is Without Pity) was released in the rest of Canada, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Japan. After taking a few years off from music, Leloup stripped back the writing process to just him and his guitar. His new simplified music appears on his latest album, “Mille Excuses, Milady.” In this video, we catch up with Leloup to find out about his new album, as well as learning what this always-busy star is up to next.
