About
How To Be a "TsunaMiX HD The Next Wave" performer on my surreal road movie making adventure! If you'd like, to be the subject/performer in "TsunaMiX HD The Next Wave". Check out my myspace profile to get acquainted with our work. http://www.myspace.com/www_tsunamix_tv They are some question & answers there that might help you decide if this is for you. Everything I do is always a work in progress don't worry I won't ask you to anything you won't be comfortable with for a scene. Looking great, having a costume, a cute pet or a gimmick of some sort is always a good start for creating a Tsunamix musical psycho-surrealist short movie (performance based, no narrative). A nice setting like public art pieces always helps heightening the production value of what you'll be doing in a scene. Keep in mind that visual metaphorical linkages are also a bonus for a peculiar scene to stand out. The greatest challenge is convey meaning without saying anything I want the keep this production has universal & timeless has possible. So heavily branded clothes are out of the question! This shouldn't take much of your time or energy, probably an afternoon and/or an evening, a few hours of yours at the most. I usually spend more time in post then the actual time it took to shoot (to make it look & sound surreal). For the time being I'm in San Diego but our travels will take us to : L.A., S.F.,Vegas, (Feb, March), Austin, New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale (April, May) & driving back up the east coast to my home studio in Montreal by the first of June 2008. If you're on our way & or not to far off our itinerary I'll consider what you have to offer & you'll stand a pretty good chance of being TsunaMiXed in HD. If want to meet me before hand it could be arranged if not we can skype (www_tsunamix_tv) or msn (mxtm@hotmail.com) to discuss certain matters of concern. I the hope some of you will be interested in this offer or someone you know. Please appreciate our works for they are & not for they aren't. I look forward seeing you partake in this surreal road movie making endeavor of mine! I have a big battery pack, I often do need to recharge, every night we have to park somewhere to sleep, if you want to serve our purpose, even if you don't want to participate, I do have a long extension cord you could hook us up with, if it so that your heart desires. I have 2 HD cams they often need recharging I do have an elaborate post production gear (compact/portable but energy intensive) I do need to recharge especially when I edit footage. Martin Chartrand aka : VeeJayTsunaMiX Producer, director, editor of the TsunaMiXes HD The Next Wave. P.S.: I also have a projector and a little sound kit so if know of a café, art house, private party, safe well attended public place or club where I could showcase or VJay the earlier TsunaMiX, while I'm in your town, works for an affordable fee, it would help us with gas money.
