Gina & Nick: Wedding Book

It's easier to throw the images into a slideshow than to post them all! These images make up the pages of the wedding book I did for Gina and Nick. It's being printed, I haven't gotten it yet, but it's going to be a hardback with a dust jacket. The front cover contains the first image you'll see. Try to imagine the images without the black edges, in spreads starting with page 2/3. :P The digital scrapbooking stuff would have come from Shabby Miss Jenn, Ah! Designs, KB Designs, Songbird Avenue, and probably some more that I'm missing. Sorry, but it would be impossible to at this point, name everything. The bulk of the stuff is by beach kits by Shabby Miss Jenn and Ah! Designs, though. Photography by Sutterer Bay Photography Song is Come What May from Moulin Rouge which they had in the wedding and the lyrics are on the back of the dust jacket.

Nick & Gina Reception Slideshow

I don't think I did the slideshow too bad considering the amount of time I was expected to put it together in. Had everyone gotten me the photos in January like I asked, I would have had time to fix the errors I see and such, clean up the scans, fix song quality, and stuff. But when you give me less than a week, forget it, I spent all day Monday after my doctor's appointment on my laptop at my in-law's doing the bulk of this as it is. But just thought I'd share anyway I keep seeing bad fades too which is really weird 'cause it doesn't do it all the time and it doesn't do it on the actual DVDs at all. So I guess it will be okay. But it's really annoying 'cause it's very apparent to me here.

At the Magic House in Kirkwood (St. Louis Co) MO on January 14, 2008. Most of this is my kid, of course, but the first minute or two is the best. They had a blast with that peg thingy, whatever it's called. I thought it was the funniest thing watching a face appear, lol.

Time's A Wastin'

This version of the old family 8mm films was put together by my mom and I for my grandpa for Christmas. Her idea, I was the method, haha. Basically, we just took what was already put to VHS many moons ago and cut out stuff that was not our family or was extra bad quality, and kept the things my grandpa would like best and changed the music to stuff he likes. Mom chose the title from one of the songs we used. I put the whole thing on DVD and he's getting it tonight (12/23), complete with nice looking covers on the case, etc. So yeah, it's bad quality overall, but like I keep saying, better bad quality than have these films lost forever.

Memorial Services for Dr. Richard Adams

December 6, 2007 The family requested we video, information about obtaining DVDs will soon be posted to the website: richard-adams.com. Please forgive the mistakes here and there. We didn't have the staff we usually do and I directed and ran audio so there are a few parts where the mic was too low or too high when someone started speaking until I could fix it. I also had to cut as much time as possible as my first two "rough drafts" were too big for a DVD. For this reason, I had no choice but to cut the first song and then cut short the final hymn and cut time between speakers. I'm sorry, Linda! Because of this, she's also missing her name title (as I forgot to add it after removing the first song where it had originally been). The soloist before the main speaker is Linda Ramey, friend of the family.

Video celebrating the last 117 years of our church as we move towards building a new church, etc. Video has our old pastors (most of them, anyway, some photos were not available) and old buildings and a few extras :) First Baptist Church Festus/Crystal City, MO Much thanks, crashingtothese for the inspiration. :) I have no idea about the music, either. Song is the classic hymn Great is Thy Faithfulness but I need to ask who does it. (The file was just sent to me for this purpose.) Best viewed in original size, of course.
