News could not have been worse for legislators and public safety officials when an independent review of the Metro Gang Strike Force showed some troubling behavior. According to the report, some officers wrongfully seized money and property for personal gain.
Today a joint Senate and House hearing heard the details of the report, ordered by Public Safety Commissioner Michael Campion. Members also heard from Legislative Auditor James Nobles.
