In this episode Dave visits with Darik Volpa of understand.com, a business that helps doctors and surgeons explain and illuminate the nature and realities of surgery. The understand.com service goes above and beyond the 30 year old diagrams they show you in the doctor’s office to 3D animations created by the same guys who create video games and cinema graphics. Understand.com’s animations show exactly what the surgery entails from the outside in.
