The Daily Telegraph School Sport Matters Awards, supported by Aviva, aim to recognise the fantastic achievements in school sport over the last school year, and are an opportunity to further celebrate sport and athletics at all levels in the UK.
Winners of this year’s awards will be announced from lunchtime today at the ceremony held at Stamford Bridge. Presenters include some of Britain’s current top athletes, including medallists at the Berlin World Championships Jenny Meadows, Marlon Devonish and Tyrone Edgar; and double Paralympic Champion David Weir; as well as some Britain’s greatest sporting legends including double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes; former England rugby star Brian Moore; and Commonwealth Champion and Olympic silver medallist Iwan Thomas.
