This part one of an unboxing and first impressions video of the AT&T LG eXpo. The LG eXpo is a Windows phone, running Windows Mobile 6.5, and runs on the AT&T GSM network. It's a quad-band GSM phone, and a tri-band 3G phone, supporting the 850/1900/2100 bands. It's the first smartphone to be sold in North America that features the Qualcomm "SnapDragon" processor, which runs at 1024 mhz. That's right, it's a Ghz processor - in a phone! The LG eXpo has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 512 MB of ROM, 256 MB of RAM, GPS, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g WiFi, and is 0.63 inches thick.

This is part two an unboxing and first impressions video of the Panasonic LUMIX GF1, easily the most unique camera I've ever had the opportunity to look at. It's similar to a DSLR in that you can change lenses, but the micro four-thirds system doesn't use a pentaprism or mirror, so it's not a DSLR. Panasonic calls it a DILC: Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera. I don't see "DILC" taking off as a term, but this camera is hot stuff...it's been selling out everywhere, and Panasonic is struggling to keep up with demand. It uses SD cards and supports SDHC.

The GF1 has a 12.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor (17.3 x 13.0mm in size), capturing JPEG or raw images at a maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels. It's also capable of 720p video capture (1280 x 720) in either AVCHD Lite or MJPEG formats. This is my review video of the HP dm3; the dm3 is a new laptop from HP that's an evolution of the dv2 - it's thin, light, and not very expensive. It uses the AMD Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processor, a semi-low power processor that uses 18 watts of power, but delivers better performance than the Intel Atom processors found in netbooks. This particular model has 4 GB of RAM, uses a 320 GB 7200 RPM hard drive, has a memory card reader, ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, four USB ports, and HDMI out. The 13.3 inch wide-screen display is 1366 x 768 pixels in resolution (driven by an ATI Radeon 3200 GPU), and it has a built-in Webcam and microphone. The keyboard is full-sized, and the laptop features Altec Lansing speakers. The 6-cell battery is rated for up to six hours of battery life.

This is a "deep dive" video where I take a closer look at the device. The model I'm looking at here is the 16 GB model, in black, and it sells for $219 USD as of September 2009. Check the link above for the best price. The Zune HD has a 3.3 inch OLED touchscreen, in a 16:9 aspect ratio, at 272 x 480 pixel resolution. It uses the NVIDIA Tegra APX 2600 processors to accelerate graphics and achieve impressive performance. The Zune HD comes in 16 GB (Black) and 32 GB (Platinum) models. ZuneOriginals.net has them in blue, green, and red as well.

Want to buy a Zune HD? Amazon.com has them: http://tinyurl.com/qubx39 [Affiliate]

This is an review video of the HP Mini 110 XP Edition, running Windows XP SP3. This netbook is a second-generation unit, following on the heels of the HP Mini 1000 released in 2008. The HP Mini 110 that I'm looking at features a 1.6 Ghz Atom N270 processor, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM (upgradeable to 2 GB), a 160 GB 5400 RPM hard drive, integrated 802.11b/g WiFI, and a 10.1 inch LED Anti-glare (matte) 16:9 aspect-ratio widescreen at 1024 x 576 resolution, driven by an Intel GMA950 graphics processor.

There's a webcam of unknown resolution (likely VGA), and the finish is "Black Swirl". "White Swirl" and "Pink Swirl" are also available. There is no CD/DVD drive, and the version I'm looking at has a 3 cell battery.

This is an unboxing and first impressions video of the 2009 version of the T-Mobile Shadow, a Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard smartphone (non-touch screen). The T-Mobile Shadow is in its second incarnation, but this model is similar to the previous version. It features a 260 Mhz CPU, 128 MB of RAM, 256 MB of ROM, and a 2.6 inch screen with 240 x 320 (QVGA resolution), and built-in 802.11b/g WiFi. There's no GPS, but it does have Bluetooth. It's a quad-band GSM phone, with GPRS/EDGE speeds for data - no 3G here. It has a built-in 2 megapixel camera, but no flash, and weighs in at 5.3 ounces.
