During the meeting, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) said he introduced an amendment to the bill requiring members of Congress to apply for the public insurance plan. However, Wilson says that in the final bill members are allowed to apply for the plan, but not required. Distributed by Tubemogul.
