AMS & Modified Mag 2009 Castrol Top Car Challenge

This summer our AMS president Martin Musial was chosen by Modified Magazine to compete in the Castrol Top Car Challenge with his personal EVO VIII street car. The event was designed around finding the ultimate all around street/track car. Some of the cars that competed were a Twin Turbo 350Z, Cobra Mustang, Audi S4, K20 swapped Civic and AMS sponsored Ryan Gates and his EVO X To start with, the cars had to be driven over 2 hours from LA to Buttonwillow Raceway during rush hour!! On top of this the event was also based around the following criteria: • Vehicle cost • Emissions • Horsepower • 80-0 braking • 0-60 acceleration • Quarter mile time and speed • Time Attack With the scoring heavily weighted on the Time Attack portion we knew Ryan Gates EVO X and the Twin Turbo Z were going to be our biggest competition. Martin was going to have to rely on brute AMS power to compete with these dedicated Time Attackers and hope to out-gun them at the drag strip and dyno. The results of the competition will be announced at SEMA in Las Vegas at the beginning of November. Stay tune to see how Martin and his EVO VIII stacked up against the competition!

Back from rehearsal, recorded a tapeful of audio, prep for tomorrow's morning concert :)

I must say, I had the best of times, also made my basic synth aka greyNES into it's own case. Designed and made a handle for it, protruding from inside it. Made from a coat hanger, popsical sticks for added durability, hot glue to hold everything in place, filling & sealing the holes made for the wire handle. All that done within a half hour. Now I don't have to carry the dam thing under my arm :)

Modified GPS Case Camera Mount 090713

I went to Walmart and found myself a Case Logıc hard shell GPS case that was a perfect fit for my Kodak v570. It was modified with velcro. I stitched the velcro while on the airplane.

Many people are having the opinion that they do not have any contact to genetic manipulated food. But nearly everybody has contact to those goods without knowing. The animation “Transgenic Foods” is focussed on that point. The consumer’s awareness should be raised by that spot. It will highlight the current situation and potential future problems. 090525 Low Profile Motorcycle Speakers

I got my hands on some low profile motorcycle speakers. They look like modified PIAA headlamps, with waterproof 4 inch marine / boat speakers retrofitted to fit. They're 75 watts each, so they should put out decent volume.
