Eigenharp are foarte multe clape dar nu este numai un keyboard sau sintetizator, are taste pentru percutie si tobe dar nu este numai un tobosar, are un gat de suflat dar nu este neaparat un suflator, are benzi de controllere si foarte multe taste senzitive dar nu este numai un controller, are intrare de microfon, se leaga la computer midi sau usb, are posibilitatea sa ii atasezi o pedala de expresie, poti canta la el in diverse pozitii (chitara, contrabass, violoncel, saxofon, harpa, pian etc etc) are cate ceva sau foarte mult din toate instrumentele muzicala, dar nu il poti defini ca si unul dintre ele.
