X11 Interface on rogers box has been spotted!!

Spotted in the wild! Still image: http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/1016/img00071il.jpg But I didn't get to catch the entire thing on camera, I did manage to take a still image of it. While nearing the last two minutes of Pontypool the movie, the X11 desktop (X-WINDOWS SYSTEM) briefly appeared, bearing a semi-distorted, stretched desktop with a calculator, calendar, notepad, task manager and clock, along with the "X" mouse cursor, moveable with the rogers remote. This most likely will happen one in a very long time, but not for 20 seconds. XMMS Media Player was shown, stretched, playing the video stream. It appeared to be an old version of X11. Here is the last remaining seconds of proof that I will ever see in a long time. The desktop partially vanished before I could pull out my phone to capture it. What you are about to see, will shock you. The Scientific Atlanta Box runs Unix with the X-Windows System on a minimum level.

The featured speaker was a representative from Bank of America who shared an overview of the current short sale policies that BofA is following. During the presentation, he shared the five most common reasons that short sales are declined. It's fair to assume that these reasons are common among all lenders.

On December 15, 2009 , I attended a round table presented by the Women's Council of Realtors. The featured speaker was a representative from Bank of America who shared an overview of the current short sale policies that BofA is following. The session was informative and very interactive and the audience shared a wide variety of frustrations and concerns with the current short sale experience. Through his role as a liaison between Realtors and the BofA short sale department, he hopes to improve the short sale process for BofA customers by providing valuable feedback from presentations like the one yesterday directly to the policy-makes in the BofA short sale department.

This Condo is FHA-Approved (Or Not...)

The FHA is getting ready to update its guidelines for borrowing on condos, townhomes and patio homes. Starting in February 2010, "FHA approved" will mean 3.5% down plus a financially stable association approved by your lender. This is huge and is a big reason for the associations who manage these communities to get their acts together.
