http://1fishfinder.com Brief Explanation and History of Fish finders: Fish finders are basically a type of SONAR (sound navigation and ranging). Fish finders use active (rather than passive which does not produce the sound) sonar to detect fish. Fish finders also detect the bottom of the ocean or lake, and everything else that reflects the sound beam. The transducer (usually included with the fish finder) produces the sound beam which reflects off anything under the boat. These reflections are interpreted and displayed on the graphic display (usually a LCD or CRT screen) of the fish finder. Fish finders get their origins from fathometers. Modern fathometers (meaning fathom plus meter) are designed specifically to show depth and usually only have a digital display. Early fathometers were comprised of a flashing rotating light at the edge of a circle. This was synced up with the received echo and corresponded to the depth of the water. They also gave a faint flicker of light for echo's off fish. Welcome back zappers, Im Devin Curry with http://Shazap.com. Your online video source for comic book news and reviews. This book takes a pretty big step back in the time line. It takes place on the day of the invasion. It follows the character of the crusader who is a skrull that has chosen to betray his people and live his life as a human. It is an interesting back story for the character and a pretty compelling look at the decision of where to put his loyalty but like most of the Secret Invasion tie ins it is pretty insignificant. They also make it look in the end of the book that the earthlings are starting to win the fight when we know from the other books that the opposite was true and Nick Fury had to show up and get a bunch of people out of there to regroup. The only cross over that I?ve found to be worth while and really necessary to the story is the New Avengers book because it actually has a unique story that is moving forward. I did enjoy the Run Aways/Young Avengers book but it is not essential to the story. If you?re into the initiative and the characters of that story then you?ll probably enjoy this one but if not it can definitely stay on the shelf.
