Fire Eagle is a new web service for 'geoscrobbling' your location: fireeagle.comIt lets you give permission for third party applications to either update your location, or to access your current location on the planet.Here, Tom Coates ( plasticbag.org/about/ ) talks about Fire Eagle at a developer evening in London, on 30th April 2008 ( upcoming.yahoo.com/event/495408/ )Afterwards, Seth Fitzsimmons ( mojodna.net ) and Steve Marshall ( nascentguruism.com/about/ ) talked about the architecture of Fire Eagle and how to authenticate applications, using Python and Ruby.
