http://www.guava-beach.com When looking for sports bars in San Diego, I try to keep in mind the whole package. There are many sports bars in downtown San Diego but I try to stay away from downtown San Diego sports bars. Not that they are bad , they just don’t give me the feel of a local hang out. Now sports bars in north county offer a bit of that feel. However most sports bars in San Diego California lack in some regards a bit of that friends and family feel. So basically when I walk into sports bars in San Diego CA, I check out how well I am received and the vibe that’s going on in the sports bars. The best sports bars in San Diego, you will instantly feel that the vibe is right. Now of course you need to have a solid sound system and lots of big screens for best sports bars. Oh yes lets not forget the food that in most cases in sports bars in San Diego County reflects that of , does fast food describe it? The best San Diego sports bars will offer home made food not fast food. So basically it comes down to the look the feel , the customer service, the sensory experience watching sporting events and of course the food and drinks. For me, that’s how sports bars in San Diego can win the title!

Bus on fire at 6th and Union on 12-10-09

Around 5:30am this morning I was woken by a loud explosion. I ran to the window and looked down towards the street at the cabbies parked on the corner and I could see that they were looking at something...then there was a second explosion... Then I could see the cabbies backin' outta there. Leaving. I grabbed my trusty flip camcorder and ran down there to see what they were looking at and this is what I found and recorded.
