Choreographer Donald Byrd discusses What You Will and highlights his points of "Shakespeare as a Western cultural icon" and "hip hop as being this...contemporary manifestation of something." He goes on to assert that they are both important in our culture today and we can appreciate both, especially as they overlap.

Justin Ellington

Watch as What You Will's musical director Justin Ellington explains his experience in both the pop sector of produced music and theater composition. With an eleven year theater career, Justin Ellington has also worked with popular artists in the hip hop and R&B genres, including Ciara and Ludacris. According to Justin, the great thing about experiencing both sides of the industry is that, "At the end of the day, it's really just music."
