The Charlevoix Maritime Museum is located in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, Quebec. The building was originally used to repair and drydock schooners, until it closed in 1972. Today, the facility is one of the area's most popular historical attractions, and serves as a museum. First Backcountry ski of 2009-10 season

From the ferry on the Salish Sea we could see that the tops of the mountains were in the clouds. Up there we experienced drizzle or heavy mist. There was hardly any snow until we drove into Cypress Bowl, and we were pleasantly surprised. 2009 November 29. A lovely day on the hill.
