This was my submission for Thursday Drink Night over at http://mixoloseum.com, a weekly online gathering of cocktail enthusiasts. The name translates to "A Twist On" in reference to this drink being derived from another called le Vieux Carré (the Old Square). I'll feature that one soon enough, but for now enjoy this one! Mineola Bourbon Rickey

This episode is exploring the versatility of the Rickey. By reducing the amount of lime juice slightly and substituting an equal amount of another seasonal fruit, you can tailor this drink to regional and seasonal flavors year round. This one didn't turn out quite as hoped, we'll see if I can tweak it for future episodes.

Amaretto Rickey Recipe - 18 November 2009

This video and drink were a ton of fun! Glad I got to feature the Rickey, the cousin of yesterday's Collins. This particular mixture packed a great 1-2 punch of lime and almond flavors that I *LOVED* Cheers!
