With our first Lodge to Lodge (http://www.rivervalley.co.nz/lodgetolod ge.html?lnum=96236), river trip of the year departing the next day, it seemed to management a really good idea that maybe, just maybe, the new guides should famil the second days section of the trip. What eventuated was a relaxing afternoon of exploring and relaxing, as Jess and Ben in kayaks, and Arnie and Brian in an inflatable kayak, paddled this Grade 1-2 section of the Rangitikei River, NZ. This section passes through the Mokai Gorge, under the Gravity Canyon bungy bridge, and takes in scenery depicted in the Lord of the Rings.
