Unfortunately, the event has passed, but good info to know for next year. Lesson learned - never leave home without the Flip cam!

En el siguiente episodio de la seccion 24Frames de Vida Extrema Podcast, les presentamos el cortometraje Cuentas Pendientes, realizado por un fantastico equipo creativo de LEC (Liga Evangelica de Cuba) que haciendo un gran esfuerzo tecnico y con la limitacion de recurzos para producir cine en la isla, se dio a la tarea de escribir, filmar y editar esta historia inspirada en los muchos casos de violencia, vicios y vidas oscuras, que finalmente son redimidas al tener un encuentro personal con Jesucristo. Cuba es tal vez uno de los paises con mayor represion gubernamenmtal con una evidente y constante vigilancia y presion hacia el la iglesia cristiana. De la misma manera, esta isla caribena es la que lleva la delantera en un avivamiento espiritual sin presedentes en la historia. Parte de esto lo evidencia la inclusion en las artes y los medios audiovisuales. Visa Extrema se une a los esfuerzos de este grupo de artistas, creativos y tecnicos, comprometidos por dar a conocer historias que han cambiado sus vidas y que revelan la realidad de un latente avivamiento en Cuba. Este es el primer cortometraje de una serie que ya se ha estado planeando y que puede ser apoyada internacionalmente con el fin de que a traves de la difusion muchos puedan conocer de Cristo, desde Cuba para el mundo. And so giving him the reigns to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous Victorian detective seems like something of an inspired gamble. With Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law taking the roles of Holmes and Watson, and Canadian starlet Rachel McAdams playing a deliciously villainous love interest, the cast is as strong as the source material, but we'll have to wait until Christmas to see what's inside the packaging. ~Matt + Nat
