The Distillery District is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. It was built in 1832 as the Gooderham and Worts Distillery, and has since been renovated and re-developed to feature numerous boutique retailers, cafes, restaurants, shops and art galleries. With over forty heritage buildings, the Distillery District boasts the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America. It is interesting to note that the Distillery District is the largest Hollywood set outside of Hollywood. A hot toddy italian style! We're using Averna to bring up the italian flavor while smoothing it over with some whiskey and a bit of honey. A bit herbal, a bit hot, a bit flavorful. Oh yeah, also putting in some freshly squeezed orange juice.

I tend to be a little weary of drinks that call for four different boozes, but this one pulls them all together pretty well in an accessible package. Also, my impromptu taste comparison of the amaretto was fun! I do recommend this cocktail to anyone... I think it would be appreciated by most palettes.
