Vanita Suzanne and ? (please help me find the first lady's name) organized the Asterisk Pavilion at the CommunicAsia in Singapore 2009 with 12 exhibitors and 13 sponsors such as Digium, Sangoma, intuit system integrators, OpenVox, Aruba, JCMex, Adheva, Redfone, snom, Polycom,DQM Coporation, Xorcom, WFR and more. Last year 2008, AsterConference was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Plans for 2010 include more recognition for Asterisk Pavilion. CommunicAsia does not have a VoIP Pavilion; therefore, the Asterisk Pavilion is a great way to get attention in one location from interested parties for telecommunications and unified communications. It's an example of something I preach ongoing: "Collaborate with your competitor."
