Today we look at two very different Oolong teas. First up is Formosa Wenshan Baochong Choice by AuraTeas and then Tankha Oolong from The Simple Leaf. Both have their own special taste, but which is more oolong and, more importantly, which is better?

1 month ago 0 + -And I think you can taste the Darjeeling-ness of it. I had a Long Leaf Green from Upton that was from Darjeeling, and it had some similar flavor notes.

1 month ago +1 + -A Tankha is a Tibetan Buddhist tapestry - kind of like a scroll. We got some as wedding presents from some Tibetan friends in Darjeeling, so we just had to name one of our teas Tankha! More details once our site is back up again.

1 month ago 0 + -It's a different oolong. Typically Indian oolongs will taste rather different from their Taiwanese forefathers. Incidentally, this one is made at the Phoobsering Estate in Darjeeling (elev. approx 6000ft)
