Each year Sierra Nevada makes special brews which they call their Harvest Series. We chose to do two of the three in the series. The first was the Southern Hemisphere harvest ale, which uses freshly dried hops from New Zealand. Second was the first ever brew of the Chico Estate harvest ale. The hops used in this beer are picked fresh from their hop field right outside the brewery, and added to the kettle while they are still wet.
