Obama HOPE poster artist Shepard Fairey arrested in Boston

The Boston Globe is reporting that artist Shepard Fairey was arrested last night on his way to DJ an event at the ICA art museum. No details on the arrest warrants were given. http://bit.ly/ONc3 I'd like more information.

White Squirrel at Jamaica Pond, Jamaica Plain, MA (HD)

The elusive RARE White Squirrel was spotted at Jamaica Pond in Jamaica Plain. This time, I was there to record it on video. http://stevegarfield.com "Its an Oriental Tree Squirrel with the scientific name Callosciurus finlaysoni (Callosciurus translates as "beautiful squirrel") found in Thailand and other parts of South East Asia. So if you sighted a white squirrel here in North America outside of captivity, its almost certainly a color variant of one of our many native species of the genus Sciurus"

It Costs 59 Cents to Vote in Massachusetts

It costs 59 cents to mail an absentee ballot into the City of Boston election department. There is no documentation in the absentee ballot mailing package or on the City Election Department website about postage cost. A call to the election department was inconclusive.
