I agree. I was really impressed with watching that blue dot slide along the map. Which is odd, because my car has a great built-in touch screen navigation system. It just looks cooler on the iPhone.

My area is non 3G, but it still worked really well. Wish it had voice directions so there's no concern of getting distracted. iPhone users seem to be responsible people ;)
