Hi Rick Your video tutorial was just what I needed for the blubrry powerpress plugin for wordpress, but the audio won't play- it says error 404. I Have uploaded mp3 files to audio file on my server- I'm using wp2.8. Any suggestions will be greatly received- thanks

Elaine

Elaine, thanks, I'm glad it helped. I'm currently in the process of finishing my guide on how to podcast. I just uploaded this video last week, as I've created several to go along with the Guide. I'm surprised that you commented on this particular video as it's the one to give assistance with use the Podpress plugin. I have another on here on using the Blubrry PowerPress plugin. At any rate, it's hard to say why you're getting that error. I suspect that you typed the file name wrong in the blank on your post page. Go back and check to make sure you got the URL exactly right. If you don't, you'll get the type of error message that you're currently getting. Let me know if this helps.

Best,

Rick

Hi Rick, thanks for your reply, I typed this http://www....../audio/ name of audio.mp3 I included the dates and numbers and also tried without and it still doesn't work- have I missed anything out? Thanks for your help

Elaine, my guess is that you've either placed the audio in a different file than you think, you're still not typing a character exactly, or perhaps you have a space in the URL that's causing an issue. I've encountered this particular problem on several occasions, especially when I was newer at uploading and creating a URL. Have you checked the URL to make sure it's valid? In other words, if you copy and paste the whole URL in your browser, does you audio file appear on the screen by itself? If it does not, then the URL that you're using is incorrect. Let me know if this works for you. If it does, then you'll need to do some further troubleshooting.
