8 months ago 0 + -It's about honesty. Of course you can't actually show the guy getting killed with a bat. So the problem is to show something "honest" on the screen that fakes out my mind and causes it to believe that a guy really is getting killed. Figuring out how to do this is hard because most people can easily detect something that is fake.
When you put in all that extra material after the message my mind works overtime to try to figure out if you are trying to tell me something profound. And then when nothing comes with all my extra effort I think maybe there is no secrete message to figure out and I get disappointed. Everything you put up on the screen is given a meaning by the person who watches it, whether you mean it or not. There is a danger here.
