Richard Quick was one of the most influential coaches in the history of swimming. On June 10th he succumbed to the effects of a Glioblastoma Ceribrie, a deadly form of brain cancer. However, in his absence his influence now reaches beyond swimming to the world he left behind as it struggles against this horrific disease. Soon after his diagnosis he partnered with Swim Across America, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping raise money for cancer research.
