I am a divorced father of two beautiful girls. A went through a lot of the thought process you went through in the last several years. I also wanted to quit my day job to be with my daughters more and not be a part time dad only on the weekends and if I happened to be off.
I quit March 1st of this and have been in everything they are doing. It can be done and you are taking the right steps to do that. You are an inspiration and I thank you for being real.
