1 year ago +1 + -I like the graphic and titles along with the sound. The squeking did hurt my ears a little. You might consider more of a softer nature sound.
joelgalbr... (0:04)
1 year ago 0 + -ditto, but no ear hurts.
RobinLisk (1:25)
1 year ago +1 + -I like the voice continuation as the picture of big foot is shown.
joelgalbr... (1:25)
1 year ago 0 + -Agreed, nic split edit, letting the audio continue, and showing us a relevant cutaway.
RobinLisk (1:32)
1 year ago 0 + -Nice use of the dissolve feature.
RobinLisk (3:34)
1 year ago 0 + -This sound is easier on the ears. Nice story line.
RobinLisk (0:32)
1 year ago 0 + -This must have been hard to piece together. Maybe you could have cut the scene with the door opening earlier to make it more of a smooth transition.
joelgalbr... (0:32)
1 year ago 0 + -It wasn't bad in my view. Botht eopening and closing were possible cut on action options. but I do agree this one was maybe 1 or 2 frames off of perfection...but still acceptable in my view.
mudwaters3 (2:16)
1 year ago 0 + -I tussled with these two scenes. I reversed them after originally having them ordered like you do. I am probably splitting hairs, but having them the otherway gives the impression that they are walking past the camera position, instead of two different cameras.
mudwaters3 (2:34)
1 year ago +1 + -I reallly like the use of the graphic. Try to reaize or add a background to take away the black side bars. I also like the zoom effect.
ekoba (2:34)
1 year ago 0 + -To me it made more sense to have them walking flat off into the woods and then head down hill, because they started on flat ground.
mudwaters3 (2:55)
1 year ago 0 + -Same comment on these still shots.
mudwaters3 (3:00)
1 year ago 0 + -This is a very good effect. It is these fine details that makes your video stand out amongst the others.
joelgalbr... (3:00)
1 year ago 0 + -Agreed, nice job with the graphics.
mudwaters3 (3:59)
1 year ago 0 + -Natalie, I really like your version of the video. Good story, editing and ending. I only mentioned a few items as "polish" on a very good video.

1 year ago 0 + -Great job. Very creative. Especially the beginning. Is that you in the costume?

1 year ago 0 + -Nope, not me - I did a Creative Commons search to find imagery that was free to use and remix for non-commercial purposes - see my comment below where I make specific attributions. The opening image actually came from Wikipedia and was of a Bigfoot statue in a park - I had to cut out part of it, blur it quite a bit, and cover up an image of a stubborn red ladder (probably for a sliding board) in the background.

1 year ago 0 + -Giving credit where credit is due - as stated in the video credits, all of the supplementary images were used under a Creative Commons license. Here is where I found them:
Opening Bigfoot image: from Wikipedia entry on Bigfoot
Bigfoot crossing sign: from Flickr user Chickeaux
Images of men with Bigfoot footprint casts: from bigfootproject.org
Image of muddy footprint with yardstick: from Flickr user Airplane Journal
Native american Bigfoot pictograph (on closing credit): from bigfootproject.org

1 year ago 0 + -Also - the sound effects on the opening title and closing credits were part of the iMovie sound effects library (under Ambience) and are entirely royalty-free.

1 year ago 0 + -Interesting manipulations. Not an easy film to work with at times. I like the stills and the audio adjustment to compensate
simviddler
1 year ago 0 + -Excellent use of the extra stills!
joelgalbr... (0:54)
1 year ago 0 + -nice cut away!
joelgalbr... (1:16)
1 year ago 0 + -pretty good cutting innhere. It feels chopped up, but is still working for me.
joelgalbr... (1:50)
1 year ago 0 + -great use of cutaway again to go along with audio track, and give you oppotunities to cut audio.
joelgalbr... (2:11)
1 year ago 0 + -Ouch! I would have tried to find a little earlier place to cut and not include the other guy.
nfh102 (2:11)
1 year ago 0 + -That poor guy kept getting cut off in the raw video. I agree though - I could have cut that little bit out.
joelgalbr... (2:34)
1 year ago 0 + -Like the graphic too. Again with cut aways you can go to town editing up the audio all you want to get it right.
ability2k... (3:24)
1 year ago 0 + -Nice campfire sounds to add to the natural environmental noises.
