Calling all dog owners – you could make your dog a part of Hollywood history. Does he have what it takes to be a star? Purina? Dog Chow? brand Dog Food is celebrating your unique dog by giving him the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have his video incorporated into the bonus section of the 20th Century Fox comedy Marley & Me DVD. In addition, a portion of each of the finalists' videos will appear during a "National Dog Show" commercial break on NBC and one lucky grand prize winner will get the chance to mingle with the stars by attending the Hollywood premiere of the movie. Based on the autobiographical book by John Grogan and staring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, Marley & Me chronicles the life and adventures of the Grogan family dog, a golden retriever named Marley.
David Frankel, dog lover and director of the upcoming Marley and Me movie, will help select the winning video in the national contest on www.longliveyourdog.com.
