T-Mobile USA Launches New Sidekick LX(TM) With Nationwide Launch Events.
Last night, T-Mobile USA, Inc., celebrated the next generation of the iconic T-Mobile® Sidekick® with the national launch of the new Sidekick LX™, which features 3G for fast Web browsing and enhanced mobile access to popular social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. For the celebration, T-Mobile transformed the famous Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood into a virtual T-Mobile metropolis, the T-Mobile Sidekick LX Central Square, complete with a café, shopping center, Internet café and amphitheatre. The star-studded celebration, attended by A-list celebrities including Emmy Rossum and Adrien Grenier, featured performances by Weezer and TRV$DJ-AM, who were joined on stage by blink-182 in a special impromptu performance for the recently reunited group.
