Korg Electribe EA-1 cleanup and disassembly

Before I auctioned it off last November, I took it apart and cleaned it up. Took some snapshots in the process and now today I'm hungering for an Electribe. Guess this is therapy until I get my hands on one again. Photos by me, tune by me, of course. Two voices makes the EA1 sound basic but that's only on paper. Made this little ditty only a few days into owning it, never had as much fun with a synth since that day :( Curse you for making so many fun and wonderful electronic instruments, Korg.

Vedervärdige Von Västerås - The Analogue Minimalist Equipment & instruments: Korg KP3 - Reverb, filters Behringer UB802 - No-input sourced whale/dolphin-song Tama Techstar TS206 - Analogue drums & sweeps No-input mixers are capable musical devices if used with filters to take care of the extreme signals. Drums on top with a good steady sequencer makes it better. I'm not 100% satisfied with the outcome or the mixing or my mixer-play, but it's alright. Threw both video and music together in a few hours time, in a burst of creative inspiration that came out of nowhere. 50 seconds or something of stills, then come Grand Theft Auto 4 video material, that worked surprisingly well.

Doomkin - World of Warcraft dualboxing druids

Old video compilation I finally found again. It's the dualboxed moonkin I played until this summer on a EU RP PVP server, most fun I've had in that game ever. I did my stuff running two clients on the same computer as to not turn my living room into a summer sauna like two computers did, using KeyClone for this together with a Logitech G11 keyboard for 18x3 macro keys I could control both druids independently of each other at the same time without the need for expensive special software or equipment. Quality vs framerate

Update: Alright, with the new GTA4 patch you get so much better performance that FRAPS might be an alright alternative, but still I'll keep this video up as a direct comparison to the FRAPSed one. Showing some g the difference between tv card capture GTA4 PC and FRAPS/etc GTA4 PC, image quality versus framerate. It looks like muddy foggy crap because that's what it looks like on the PC sort of, and the viddler compression sort of muddifies it.

Let's take a look at playing Midnight Club 2

Had a friend over for some plotting of plans and jamming, looking for inspiration I opened up the Midnight Club 2 soundtrack for him and remembered this thread and how I wanted to make a video for it. So we did. I did not remember to reset all the knobs and values on my mixer, and it was made worse by clogged noses and dry post-jam throats, but hell, just for this time I don't care about the quality one bit. Even when it ends like that I still love the game and want to get back into it shortly afterwards. It's not as brutal as F-Zero GX, but the reward you feel when you win a race is equal. Might be hard to hear it from the bad volume and tuning but it should be a $10-$20 piece on Steam, and I advise getting it if you have a good method of controls, an ancient analogue joystick or a good wheel and pedals.
