This video was shot by my mom and stepdad who run Spirit Lights Lodge in Bettles, Alaska. They are 35 miles north of the Arctic Circle and it gets COLD! In this video, Ma and Pa Browne play Mythbusters and confirm the myth that hot coffee thrown into the air at temperatures below -50 degrees F vaporizes before it hits the ground. Personally, I think anyone throwing hot coffee away when it's 50 below should have their head examined! :P There are also some Ptarmigans at the end of the video. Very cool birds!
