Took this tiny movie with my cell phone's video camera during a reptile event at the Queen Creek Library. The big long thing is a live snake. It's a type of python and it had to be at least 15-20 feet long. The Reptile Man let the kids come up to pet it.

A typical summer Tuesday at the Colockum Golf Course/RV Park in Quincy, WA. Frames shot 15 seconds apart over a period of about 10 hours. Compiled at 30 frames per second.

My second try at a time-lapse with my old Canon G5. This one is much better, although I could have framed it without the wires in the shot. Images taken over a period of 10 hours on June 13, 2009. One shot per minute, assembled at 10 frames per second. The cloud activity in this video is really amazing -- but see how many large vehicles appear in the shots along the way!

My first time-lapse experiment with my old Canon G5 camera. I thought the darn thing was running all day, but it actually quit after 2 hours. Still, some nice cloud movement. I cut out the boring stuff to keep it short.

Clean Office Timelapse

My latest timelapse. Did I mention I was hooked on this stuff? In this one, I'm cleaning my office. One shot per 30 seconds, made into a movie at 10 frames per second. I ran some errands in the middle of this and shut the camera off so it wouldn't be a very long stretch with nothing going on. What's interesting is what a disaster area my office was before I began and how nice and neat it looked at the end. Also interesting is my dog, who looked like a fixture in a good portion of this movie.

Saguaro Flower/Clouds Timelapse

The main goal was to create a timelapse movie of today's saguaro flowers closing. (They bloom at night and are wilted and closed by late afternoon.) But I set up the camera to include the sky beyond, which was just filling with clouds. The building clouds stole the show.

Join us for a low-level flight up I-10 west of Palm Springs, where tall windmills line both sides of the freeway. Bryan was at the controls for this flight.

LA Shoreline Transition (by Helicopter)

Join us for a low-level flight up the CA coast through the busy LAX airspace. We begin at Kings Harbor, then drop to 150 feet over the Pacific Ocean for a flight up the coast while LAX's departing traffic flies over our head. Afterwards, we climb to a more reasonable 500 feet to depart the area past the Santa Monica Pier. Ryan at the controls for this flight.
